Currently, what many understand for culture, if it bases on the idea of theater, cinema and literature. Inside of the theoretical studies on culture, two conceptions exist. The first one corresponds to the reality of a society, enclosing physical aspects of the peoples. An example, is when we relate in them to the cultures French, Roman, and Greek, in such a way we are detaching only the physical workmanships created by these cultures, as a complex sufficiently varied. The second conception, if locates in the terms related to the knowledge, beliefs and values. An example is when we cite the philosophy Greek, or modern sciences of the United States.

When in we relate the culture to them, many times we have the impression soon that it is something static, already, that it does not suffer alterations. But, in the reality the opposite occurs, it is in a constant change, since hardly a culture if isolates of the remaining portion of the world. Then it is this contact with other societies, that becomes the culture of a people, something dynamic. The studies on culture, had started more necessarily in Germany, that in the context of the time found if divided in some units politics. Therefore, it had the necessity of if to inside understand some types of existing culture of the sprung from the same father and mother territory, stops of this form facilitating the process of unification of this nation. The culture is a word of Latin origin, where its meaning original, is related agriculture.

Later, the Romans had given new synonymous to a word culture, relating this to a certain fine behavior, that is, personal sophistication and an elaborated education. The intensification of this concern with the culture, if gave with the Imperialism, where it had the contact biggest of the European peoples with the explored societies. It had if in mind, to understand as if it gave the development of the culture of these peoples dominated, for in such a way having a bigger effectiveness in the ways of establishment of the capitalist culture, under these developed societies less technologically. An important fact was the rupture with the religious vision that if had until century XIX. In such a way, establishing a laica vision under the culture, if it became much more beneficial the studies on the evolution of the societies.
